Google Authenticator software is a mobile application developed by Google for two-factor authentication. With the aim of providing security, this software protects various user accounts against hackers and stealing passwords. Setting up and working with this software is very easy. In fact, after downloading and installing it, every time the user wants to enter user account, in addition to the usual password, you must enter the 6-digit code announced by this software. This code is announced by this application every 60 seconds, so the user has only 60 seconds to enter it. Otherwise, the code will expire. It is good to know that this code is also required for the withdrawal process from your account in order to make your property more secure.
To activate Google’s two-factor authentication, follow the steps below in the web version of Mazdax.
In the user account settings section, at the bottom of the page in the Google Authenticator section, select the activation option.
In this section, to continue the activation process, you must install Google authentication program on your mobile.
In this section, scan the Google two-factor identification QR code displayed or use the code provided at the bottom of the image to activate it in the Google Authenticator program.
At this stage, you need to make a backup for when your mobile phone is lost or you forget your accesses, so that you can access the two-factor authentication code at any time.
On the page in front of you, first enter the code sent to your email, then enter the code sent to your mobile number, and finally add the two-factor identification code from the Google Authenticator program in the required field.
In the last step, after receiving the message that Google Authenticator has been successfully activated, all the activation steps are completed.
Remember, from now on, you must enter the two-factor identification code when logging into your account and making withdrawals.
How to disable Google’s two-factor authentication
To disable Google two-factor authentication, after logging in to your account and selecting the Google Authenticator option, click on the Unbind to deactivate and then click on Send code to send the verification code to your email and phone number. and also enter the code received from the Google Authenticator application in the corresponding box and click on the next Button.
